What is the difference between WHITE vs BLUE columns in my campaign reporting?

In the Campaign Summary and Detail grids, the white columns represent campaign to date values.

The Blue columns represent Period based values related to the period selection. For example, you can select one month, and the period based columns will show you values for the month only
